Danielle Davis - Co-Creator
Danielle Davis is the founder of Liberated Development, which illuminates barriers and boundaries in thinking, creates space for teams and leaders to think outside of traditional solution boxes, and pushes for solutions-orientated thinking that centers personal identity and life experience. Her 15-year career in strategic planning, training design/delivery, and talent development in the education and nonprofit sectors has focused on organizational climate and culture, with a unique concentration on the influence of identity, wellness and race. In addition to leading numerous culture-building and leadership development strategies at organizations including The Posse Foundation, Danielle has served as an independent consultant, and as a leader on regional, district and national teams, most recently at iMentor where she designed and launched a comprehensive, multi-year roadmap to drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) across the org’s national landscape. She graduated from The Nexus Fellowship at The Equity Lab, and her training includes Google’s Mindfulness and Emotional Intelligence Leadership Training (SIYLI), the People’s Institution for Survival and Beyond’s Undoing Racism, DePaul University School of New Learning’s Innovative Strategies for Facilitating Adult Learning, the Institute for Organizational Development’s Change Implementation: Organizational Development Process Consulting as well as The Institute of Cultural Affairs’ ToP Facilitation Methods. A proud Chicago native, Danielle’s educational background includes a master’s program at Moody Theological Seminary, a bachelor’s degree from Loyola University New Orleans, and a nonprofit leadership development certificate from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management's Center for Nonprofit Management. She is currently based in Washington, DC.
